Guyot is an estate of Languedoc, near Sommières, settled in the Garrigues
between Nîmes and Montpellier.
In
the vineyard
The
vineyards, planted on well-oriented hillsides, take advantage of a maximum
of sunshine. Mix of clay and limestone soil with alluvia of gravels of the
quaternary period.
In
the cellar
Grape
skin maceration, bleeding, vinification at controlled and low temperature.
Tasting
notes
Light
rose robe with fuchsia hints, floral aroma of violet and pomegranate,
fruity aroma of peaches, raspberries and wild strawberries refining the
tasting. On the palate, fruity with a well-balanced acidity, a nice
persistence.
Food
& wine
To
appreciate alone as « aperitif » or to serve with delicatessen
(anchoïade, brandade and pissaladière) grilled meats, sausages, roasted
turkey. Dessert: Cakes with raspberries
